Individual Therapy

At some point in life, many thoughtful and capable people reach a moment where something just isn’t working the way it once did. Many of my clients are professionals, students, or business owners who are used to solving problems on their own but find themselves facing challenges that require a different kind of perspective.
You may feel anxious, burned out, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or uncertain about the direction your life is taking. On the surface things might look fine — your career may be progressing, your relationships may appear stable — but internally something feels off. Many of the clients I work with describe a sense that their lives are not fully aligned with their values or the kind of person they want to be.
Therapy can be a powerful place to slow down, think clearly, and begin making meaningful changes.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and EMDR. Together we explore what is really going on beneath the surface, identify the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical strategies to help you move forward.
Our work often focuses on:
• reducing anxiety, stress, and burnout
• working through depression or periods of low motivation
• understanding relationship patterns and improving communication
• navigating career challenges or life transitions
• clarifying values, purpose, and long-term direction
• processing difficult past experiences or trauma
Many of my clients appreciate having a therapist who is both thoughtful and practical — someone who can explore deeper questions about meaning and direction while also offering concrete strategies for improving daily life. Many have tried therapy before but are looking for a more direct, evidence-based approach that combines deeper insight with practical strategies.
Therapy is not simply about talking through problems. It is about gaining clarity, strengthening relationships, and making intentional choices about the kind of life you want to build.
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure about your next steps, individual therapy can provide the space and guidance needed to move forward.
I offer in-person sessions in Amarillo and telehealth sessions throughout Texas. If you’re interested in learning more, I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation so we can see whether working together would be a good fit.
